Hospitality
Our Parish endeavours to welcome people to our Church in several ways.
We have Greeters at the front door to welcome people as they arrive at Mass. This is an opportunity for people to obtain information or make themselves known if they are new to the Parish. If you would like to volunteer to be a greeter, please contact the Parish Office.
On the first Sunday of the month, we have an informal morning tea after Mass to give everyone a chance to interact.
New parishioners are invited to a special morning tea which is held every 3 months. Again, this is an opportunity to get to know other people in the Parish.
We also have a range of social activities. Our three main ones are a Tribute to volunteers in May, the All Nations Mass in August, and the Parish Brunch in December. There is a morning tea in the Parish Hall on the first Thursday of every month after the Healing Mass. A “Singles out to lunch” group also meet together for lunch every second month and these details are in the newsletter.
