Mass Co-Ordinators

STEPS for CO-ORDINATORS

 
  1. Unlock side door. Via Coded Key pad.
  2. Get sacristy keys 
  3. Open Sacristy and switch on lights in church, switch on fans if needed.
  4. Switch on sound system in sacristy.  Located first cupboard on right hand side.
  5. Open front doors & side doors.
  6. Open toilets.
  7. Prepare for mass.
    1. Open Tabernacle and check Ciborium. Leave tabernacle key on ledge. Calculate hosts required.
    2. Place wine in carafe.
    3. Place water bowl and finger towel for communion ministers on side table.
    4. Placed chalice on the side table.
    5. Place sacramental bowl and wine craft on table in sacristy for gifts.
    6. Place one water cruet on side table.
 
  1. Place Missal on the altar. Ensure running sheet is on the Presider’s Lection.
  2. Ministers of the Word. Check Lectionary for today’s readings and the prayers of the faithful.
  3. Light candles besides reading lectern.
  4. Check of communion ministers and readers and arrange substitutes if necessary.
  5. Prior to the welcome starting, get bell key, open bell control box, select single and ring the bell six times.
  6. On completion of mass ensure vessels are clean, church is locked and KEYS ARE RETURNED TO THEIR PLACE.
